The setting was in World War II in England. Benedict potrayed as Alan Turing, a british mathematician, registered to Bletchley Radio Manufacturing in England Millitary. His job is to break German's Code to end the war. Alan needs to work in team but it was not suitable for him. Every 6 o'clock in the morning, Germany sent the code for their communication using enigma, unbreakable code they said. Alan and team only have time till midnight, after midnight the code will not useful anymore and the new code will be sent again. In short, they need to break every message, every day, instead. While they were working, the war was ongoing. People day every second, every day.

When the other tried to break the code, Alan tried to make a machine that can break every code, an universal machine. So England millitary didn't need to break the code every day, they just need to put the keyword. This when the story began. The idea may be brilliant but not everyone think so. Alan need to face his teammate and his Commandant and also time, their best opponent.

This movie has play in time. It will appear as a flashback then turn forward again to the present time and turn back again when Alan was a child. The secondary character will appear as teammate recruited by Alan--of course the recruitment tense to be unique--named Joan Elizabeth Clark. The women who can beat Alan's puzzle under the estimated time.
