For you who havent seen the title, I introduce you one of anime and manga with the title Psycho Pass. It has two season (for anime version), I've just watched the first one, and the second still in my notebook haven't watched yet. I absolutely recommend this anime (since I just watch the anime). It saw you how technology come into life and be the standard of criminality. With the charming character named Shinya Kougami. Is it the character named Shinya imagining as charming person? I got two character named Shinya, the first one is from anime manga and novel Owari no Seraph, Shinya Kagami. They have similar name, right? He was so charming, meanwhile he was a sniper made him look cool. *fangirling*.

Well back to Psycho Pass. The reason why I havent watched the second season? because some reference told that the second one is not great as the first one. But I have reviewed every episode in the second season. Only review. and I go with that statement.

The topic that I want to discuss in this post is the inspiration of sybil system coming from.

Maybe you've ever heard about Shirley Ardell Mason, have you? Honestly, I dont know about it so thanks to Psycho Pass author and the one who made the picture, introduced me about one of world history. After got the fact I search it on internet and got article from wikipedia. When I read, this made me frightened for bit. Here is a few from the article.

"Shirley Ardell Mason (January 25,1923 –February 26, 1998) was an American psychiatric patient and commercial artist who was reputed to have multiple personality disorder, now called dissociative identity disorder. Her life was purportedly described, with adaptations to protect her anonymity, in 1973 in the book Sybil, subtitled The True Story of a Woman Possessed by 16 Separate Personalities, and two films of the same name were made in 1976 and 2007. Both the book and the films used the name Sybil Isabel Dorsett to protect Mason's identity, though the 2007 remake stated Mason' name at its conclusion."

I got from another source, told that 16 personalities have their own name. At glance we can conclude that from the statement we knew the reason why Sybil system in Psycho Pass controlled by not only one person and they are representated as a robotic woman, named Joushuu Kasei. The chief of the Public Safety Bureau.

When I read that wikipedia article, my mind goes to my psychiatric lesson. In my college major, we got this subject in purpose to make us know what kind of disorder, first aid, and give to the specialist. So we know a little bit about psychiatric in general.

Yep, This is the disease or disorder we learned. Made me more frightened because I havent heard about this desease or disorder in real life yet although I know this absolutely exist.

If you ask me about Psycho Pass, I totally recommend you to watch this! Eventough I feel regret in the middle of the story when the main character couldn't save her bestfriend because I know she obviously could do (this only opinion from my humanity sight, fufufu) and later I realize that is one of the point to grow the story.

The main point I get is, the one who can  understand the criminals point of view only the criminals. Sometimes criminals have their own rule, their own point of view about justice and humanity. So, the one who could understand and predict the next step of criminals is the other criminals, cuase they have the same point of view. This anime succesfully prove it in their police system.
